Synopsis

According to Rudin, R., & Ibbotson, T. (2013), in the book intitled Introduction to Journalism, it was said that To convince potential advertisers to advertise their products, it's important to provide the merchants with facts and figures to prove to them how much influence you have. To get these numbers, we can conduct a survey of readers. The survey results obtained are expected to convince traders.

The result of a survey should be that it convinces merchants that your publication is a good place to reach a valuable group of customers.

Decide:

                    Who should get the survey

How many students should receive one

What approvals you need to obtain

What advance publicity will be necessary

                    When it will be distributed

                    How it will be collected

                    How it will be tabulated

What information you need to know about the person filling out the survey

What questions you can ask to determine how much money students have to spend

What products and services you want to ask about

To get the expected response, we need to write survey questions well. We can also use survey question templates to speed up the survey creation process, but make sure the questions we choose are good questions to produce the right targets.

Here are some tips for writing good survey and poll questions, which have been summarized from the Surveymonkey blog:

1. Ask more closed-ended questions instead of open-ended questions

2. Make sure your survey questions are neutral

3. Keep a balanced set of answer choices

4. Don't ask for two things at once

5. Keep your questions different from each other

6. Let most of your questions be optional to answer

7. Do a test drive

Reflection

Through the material “Creating A Survey: Sell An Ad For School Publications " I learned about how to create a customer survey. In the future when I own a business, the thing I will do is conduct customer surveys. In addition to knowing how far customers enjoy our products, we can also use the survey results as branding. Good ratings from customers will certainly provide added value to our business. This will later attract more customers and further build the trust of our customers.

Through this material, I also learned about how to advertise a product. By implementing this survey, a researcher can gain meaningful insights into how the target audience feels and how they respond to advertisements. This survey is a very good medium to find out the performance of an advertisement and whether the brand will get loyalty from its customers or not. To improve school brand image, researchers often integrate advertising effectiveness with brand performance. Better ad reach, better brand performance. By using this survey, a business or organization can also find out about brand effectiveness.
