Synopsis
According to Smith (2010), in the book intitled Introduction to
Journalism, it was said that advertising
plays a vitally important role in publications and also helps to educate the
public about products, goods and services, and advertising helps to stimulate
the economy. Newspaper advertising has a wide range of advantages for
marketers.
To make an ad, there are generally five parts to make it effective. The first
way is by using art/photo. It can be a drawing, a photo, or type used as a
graphic element. We can also put a caption under any photos. The second step is
by using headline to grabs the reader attention and interest. Then make copies
from the ad, and we can start to action to get the reader to do something: come
to a store, select a particular brand, write for more information. The last
step we can make a business identification.
The
purpose of an ad is to increase sales for the advertiser. In making the ad, we
should make it persuasive; it can help persuade people to take action. Then it
should be informative; it helps to inform people that goods and services exist.
And also it should entertaining and educational, to telling people about things
of interest and importance to them.
Reflection
Through the material “Advertising: Creating an Advertisement News" I learned
about how important
is ad for our business. with advertising, of course, help sell our products and
make more people know about our products. Throughout the material it becomes evident that
successful advertising involves a strategic blend of creativity, persuasion,
and understanding of target audiences. Furthermore, the materials explore
different advertising mediums and their unique characteristics. Whether it be print,
television, radio, or digital platforms, each medium presents opportunities and
challenges that advertisers must navigate to effectively convey their message. The
material is also important as a valuable resource for advertisers, marketers,
and anyone involved in the field of advertising. I hope someday I can enhance my
ability to create compelling and successful advertising campaigns. by studying
this material, I came to know how it would be if I wanted to advertise my
business. Apart from getting knowledge from journalism, namely how to write an
advertisement, I also got tips for developing a business.
