Reflection
I have developed my understanding of the learning media
landscape from today's lesson. As an effort to practice our writing skills, my
lecturer recommended reflecting and making a summary after each lesson. Apart
from practicing writing skills, this is also useful for strengthening memory
about things you have learned. After that, we need to upload our writing to our
blog. However, I have not (sufficiently) improved my ability to create a blog.
But from now on, after going through several lessons, I am starting to get used
to this media.
Summary
Based on an article provided by my lecturer about
"Learning English writing through News Writing- Media Landscape", it
is covers topics such as reflection and application, news writing style
analysis, summary session evaluation, and recommendations for improving news
writing style and organization of ideas. The material emphasizes the importance
of adhering to news writing principles such as the "Five W's and H"
principle, efficient information delivery, and the inverted pyramid structure.
By following these principles and incorporating the suggested strategies, I can
write compelling news articles that engage readers and effectively communicate
essential information.
