Previously, I did not notice that news has so many elements in it. Through discussions about "Understanding News Values and Elements", I now realize that news story is shaped by elements such as timeliness, proximity, significance, prominence, conflict, human interest, and currency. All of these elements will have an impact on the news. This material not only enhanced my understanding of the media landscape but also equipped me with the skills necessary to understand the critical components of a compelling news narrative.
